Tanker tours delight crowds
During the annual Wings Over Wayne air show in mid-May, crowds flocked to the KC-135R Stratotanker on display. The aircraft, which if flown by the 916th Air Refueling Wing, Air Force Reserve at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. has a 50-year history as part of the Air Force's arsenal. The plane is used for in-flight refueling, transportation and cargo and aero-medical evacuation. More than 100,000 people attended this year's air show.
