The 916th is the first unit equipped Wing to receive the KC-46A Pegasus in Air Force Reserve Command.  The Wing’s first KC-46 arrived in June 2020, and the conversion process is expected to be complete within two years.  Once fully equipped the wing will have a 12 KC-46A Pegasus on its flightline.

The 916^th Air Refueling Wing’s peacetime mission is to develop and maintain operational capability, and to train and equip its Reserve Citizen Airmen.

The 916th Air Refueling Wing is comprised of three groups, 916^th Operations Group, 916^th Maintenance Group, 916^th Mission Support Group, the 916th aero-medicine squadron and the wing staff. Each group and section carries out a specific role in relationship to our federal and local mission.
