We hosted a KC-46A Pegasus Site Activation Task Force this week to better facilitate the transition to our new refueling system. Representatives from Boeing, Air Force Reserve Command, the 916th Air Refueling Wing and other relevant agencies came together for a four-day workshop to further preparations for the Pegasus, which is scheduled to arrive here in 2020. Over the past four days, the team has closely examined the progress of the transition program as well as solicited feedback from the affected 916th offices. #reserveready #reservereform #916arw #reservecitizenairman #totalforceaf

TSgt Monica Duarte, Development and Training Flight Chief, for the 916th Air Refueling Wing. During the June UTA Duarte was giving the training flight a mock physical fitness assessment at the track on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. when one of the trainees fell out and their heart stopped. Duarte rushed into action, her quick response to the situation saved the young trainee’s life. She credits her training for remaining calm and to following protocol throughout the incident.
