Community project helps deployed Airmen
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Members of Mount Olive College presented Lt. Col. Kerri Grimes (front), 916th Civil Engineer Squadron commander, with a variety of items collected to help support deployed Airmen and reservists serving overseas. Capt. Ted Janicki (back), a former member of the 916th Air Refueling Wing is also employed by Mount Olive and helped spearhead the campaign. The items were presented during the college's 12th Annual L.E.A.D conference on Feb. 23. The conference is attended by 250 college students from across the state and focuses on leadership topics.
