Community leaders learn about Reserve mission at 25,000 feet
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Tech. Sgt. Tara Hopewell (right) demonstrates the capabilities of the KC-135R Stratotanker to a local civic leader during an air-to-air refueling flight last week. More than 50 community leaders from the Leadership Wayne County class and others from across the state participated in the Reserve wing's community outreach program. The 916th Air Refueling Wing refueled F-15E Strike Eagles from the 4th Fighter Wing. The 916th ARW runs the most active flight orientation program in the Air Force Reserve, educating nearly 250 community leaders and ROTC cadets each year. U.S. Air Force photo/Ms. Donna Lea
