8/30/2012 - SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- It's amazing what a coat of fresh paint can do. For some it brightens a room, for others it makes something old new again.
For Airmen from the 916th it built good international relations.
In August, members of the wing deployed to Incirlik Air Base supported a two-day community outreach project for the Mehmet Amuran Tekin Zihinsel Engellier Okulu School. The school helps children with mental disabilities.
Active duty and Reserve Airmen from the wing cleaned up a playground area in order to prepare it for a fresh coat of paint.
The project was just one of several wing members have been involved with during their overseas deployment.
