Secretary of Defense, the Honorable Dr. Mark T. Esper addresses local Colorado Springs media outlets during his visit to the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command’s headquarters, May 7. Secretary Esper and the NORAD and USNORTHCOM Commander, Gen. Terrence J. O'Shaughnessy discussed how U.S. Northern Command conducted COVID-19 response operations through virtual edge computing and cloud based servers. The visit also gave Secretary Esper the opportunity to express his gratitude to NORAD and USNORTHCOM personnel for defending the homeland while contributing to the whole of America response to the pandemic
