MRAP Egress Trainer - Package, Long Version
AFN Afghanistan
Oct. 2, 2010 | 1:39
According to Army statistics, 144 non-hostile mine resistant ambush protected vehicle rollover incidents were reported from November 1st, 2007 through March 31st, 2008. Due to this growing concern about MRAP's susceptibility to roll, the MRAP Egress Trainer, or MET, was designed and is currently being fielded in Afghanistan. Marine Cpl. Mandy Castillo brings us the story. Soundbites from Staff Sgt. John Sullivan and Gary Pray.
