California Army National Guard Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 143rd Field Artillery mobilize to support law enforcement and first responder agencies fighting the wildfires in Santa Clarita, Calif., Jan. 23, 2025. The California Army National Guard supports numerous California emergency agencies with traffic control by guiding traffic away from evacuated areas so that first responders are able pass through to the burn areas and keep community members safe from fire hazards.
