Joint Security Forces partnered with local police in Comayagua, Honduras for a Subject Matter Expert Exchange that will strengthen force readiness in emergency situations by practicing basic life-saving techniques that could potentially help save lives. Skills practiced included treating burns and open wounds, applying tourniquets, stabilizing fractures, basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation on children and adults, and how to improvise stretchers.
