SHAPE Terry Fox run 2022

The Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe Terry Fox Run 2022 was held on SHAPE, Belgium, Oct. 14, 2022, and enabled participants to run together and gain financial support for cancer research. Terry Fox is considered by many to be a Canadian hero for his work in the fight against cancer. After losing a leg to the disease, Fox set off on a run across Canada in 1980 to raise money and awareness for cancer research. He made it 3,339 miles when he was forced to stop as the cancer had reached his lungs. In honor of Fox, races are held all across the world each year to carry on his cause.
