Wounded Warriors find their "Proper Exit"
U.S. Forces Afghanistan
March 19, 2017 | 2:52
USFOR-A had the honor of welcoming and hosting five Wounded Warriors to include a Medal of Honor recipient, Mar. 15-19 at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, as part of the Operation Proper Exit initiative. With the help of the Troops First Foundation, this program allows Wounded Warriors the opportunity to depart on their own terms after being medically evacuated from a combat zone. The Wounded Warriors who had the opportunity to travel to different installations and tactical bases were Retired U.S. Army Master Sgt. Leroy Petry (Medal of Honor recipient), Master Sgt. Christopher Corbin, Sgt. 1st Class Randy Nantz, Staff Sgt. George Perez, Sgt. Will Hoyum and Spc. Matt Stubblefield. (Produced by Jet Fabara, U.S. Forces-Afghanistan)
