Missouri Regional Training Institute Ribbon Cutting at Ft. Leonard Wood

Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. – The Missouri National Guarg(MONG) held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the official opening of the new schoolhouse for the 140th Regiment, Regional Training Institute (RTI) at Fort Leonard Wood on September 24.

The new state-of-the-art building was designed to be as flexible as the National Guardsmen it serves.

The RTI trains members of the MONG and Army Reserve in course ranging from explosives to leadership.

As part of The Army School System, the 140th Regiment instructs officer candidate school, warrant officer candidate school, military occupational skills training, and non-commissioned officer education system courses to U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command accreditation standards.

The building has 10 classrooms, an auditorium, a multi-purpose room, administrative and support areas. A motor pool and outdoor auditorium are located adjacent to the building.
