Holland Pins On Colonel
U.S. Air Force Col. Christopher Holland is the commander of the 916th Operations Group on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Holland received his commission through the United States Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps in 1998. He is a command pilot with 3,000 hours in the KC-135 and C-130. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Air Force Intern Program and has Office of the Secretary of Defense and Headquarters Air Force staff experience. He has served as an Executive Officer, Flight Commander, Assistant Director of Operations, deployed Director of Operations, Director of Operations, deployed Wing Director of Staff, and Squadron Commander. Holland has flown combat sorties in Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and Freedom’s Sentinel and Numerous Missions for Operation Noble Eagle.
