Lieutenant Colonel Chris Holland is Commander of the 916th Operations Group, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. He assumed command of the group in a ceremony on February 16, 2018 surrounded by friends, family and members of the 916th Air Refueling Wing. In this capacity he leads 428 active duty, reserve, and civilian Airmen as part of the first KC-135 Active Total Force Associate Unit. The group is directly responsible for expeditiously ensuring conventional and non-conventional global reach to Combatant Commanders through the execution of Air Force Reserve Command’s leading flight hour program.
