Veronica Jefferson (center), a Reservist with the 916th Communications Squadron, walks across a small river in Ethiopia after helping other motorists that were stuck in the mud. Sgt. Jefferson is deployed to Djibouti, but was helping provide radio communications during a veterinarian mission to Ethiopia.
