Week-long inspection begins today
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Col. Fritz Linsenmeyer, wing commander (right) welcomes Chief Master Sgt. David Brooks to the 916th Air Refueling Wing. Chief Brooks is part of a 90-member inspection team visiting the Reserve wing July 9-16. All areas from medical to maintenance to flying to office functions will be inspected on their abilities to perform their jobs for compliance. While other inspections view the reservists ability to survive and operate in a wartime setting, this inspection is mainly viewing paperwork and procedures to ensure the wing is accurately running its day-to-day business.
