Reservists help at local soup kitchen
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Staff Sgt. Veronica Jefferson (left) supports the Goldsboro community by preparing and serving lunch at the Community Soup Kitchen. Sgt. Jefferson was joined by fellow 916th Communication Squadron member Tech. Sgt. Maurice Carter and Senior Master Sgt. Les Roy Williams of the 4th Logistics Readiness Squadron. The volunteer opportunity was coordinated through the Air Force Sergeants Association by Tech. Sgts LaTasha Carroway. The Community Soup Kitchen of Goldsboro reserves Wednesdays for volunteers from the AFSA.
