Free safety vests promote fall campaign
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Airman First Class James Saunders (center), an aircraft hydraulics systems specialist receives one of 12 motorcycle safety vests from Master Sgt. Chris Scher (right), 916th Ground Safety NCO. Senior Master Sgt. Dave Theriot (left), fabrication flight chief also received a vest as part of the Fall Safety Campaign which helps put emphasis on preventing traffic fatalities. With gas pricing soaring this year, more military members are choosing to ride motorcycles, so the Air Force Reserve Command Safety Office is helping unit safety representatives by providing free safety vests. Reservists of the 916th can get their free vest from the 916th Safety Office while supplies last.
