First salute
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Members of the 911th Air Refueling Squadron salute their commander for the first time. Not seen, Lt. Col. Bill Uptmor, returns the salute from the stage. The 911th ARS activated as the first Active-associate unit in Air Force history on April 12, 2008. They help fly and maintain KC-135 air-to-air refueling tankers along with their Air Force Reserve counterparts from the 916th Air Refueling Wing.
