Active associate keeps history alive
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Lt. Col. Art Primas (front) and Capt. Chris Vecchione look at memorabilia from when the 911th Air Refueling Squadron started at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in 1958. The book includes photos, programs, news clippings and even an autograph from Chuck Yeager. Colonel Primas is the operations officer for the 911th and Capt. Vecchione is a pilot.
