SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Frieda Roos-Van Hessen shares stories with Col. Fritz Linsenmeyer, 916th Air Refueling Wing commander, during the May unit training assembly. Ms. Roos-Van Hessen is 93 and a survivor of the Holocaust. She detailed her life in her book, Life in the Shadow of the Swastika.
