Son's school welcomes Reserve dad to Balad

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Senior Master Sgt. Bryan Payne arrived in Iraq in May to a sign from home. Sgt. Payne, a Reservist with the 916th Communication Squadron was welcomed to Balad with a sign from his son's South Carolina school, Lake Carolina Elementary. Sgt. Payne commented that of all the military signs present this was the only one from an outside location and that he was very touched that it was there upon his arrival.
