Doubling the fleet
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- In 2008, the 916th Air Refueling Wing located in Goldsboro, N.C. will become the first Reserve wing to do a reverse-associate partnership with the active duty. The 916th will gain eight additional KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft and will host 260 active duty fliers and maintainers. The active duty troops and aircraft start arriving in late 2007.
