Self aid and buddy care adds a little fire power
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C.--Reservists from the 916th Air Refueling Wing took a fast-paced self aid and buddy care class during the October unit training assembly. Members of Security Forces, Personnel, Services and Aerospace Medicine supported students in providing first aid to a simulated downed pilot. Security forces provided instruction to the students on how to move tactically and set up perimeter defense while help could be given. Four scenarios were included in the training that had reservists thinking and moving quickly to rescue their Wingmen.
