Scouts help deployed troops have better holiday season
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Master Sgt. Brian Sterling, a reservist with the 916th Maintenance Squadron, sits with his son Jacob, age 8, as they display the items collected by Jacob's Boy Scout Troop, Pack 922 out of Walkertown, N.C. Jacob's wolf den decided they wanted to help out troops overseas during the holiday and collected items ranging from electric blankets to hot chocolate mix. The young scouts collected items over a three week period and then went on AnyAirman.com to find some deployed troops from Seymour Johnson that they could support.
