See the attached video news story on how a 911th Air Refueling Squadron Airman promotes fitness as a family affair.

Script:
Technical Sergeant Carlos Santana doesn't just work out. He brings his family.

15-year-old Gabriel and 11-year-old Joseph join their father in the gym and on the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base quarter-mile track about three times a week.

"It's almost like you can feel a little competitive. You want to beat; I want to beat my brother. I want to beat my dad. Or they want to beat me. And it just helps having someone with you like your dad or your brother."

Even Sergeant Santana's wife, Christina - a fulltime student, finds time to work out. She is an active member of the BellaMorphosis member, who attends workout classes daily.

"Our littlest actually loves to run on the trail. So he actually motivates me to get out there and run as well."

For this family fitness is more than just a way to stay healthy.

"It's a part of my life and I'm glad that they can share it with me."

This family looks forward to when five-year-old Carlos Junior is able to join them in the gym. Reporting from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, I'm Airman First Class Candace Williams.
