November run produces lots of turkeys

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. --  Ten turkeys were given away as prizes to 10 winners of the 916th Air Refueling Wing Semi-Annual Warrior Run on Sunday, Nov 3, 2013.

The first place overall  male and female were Airman First Class Brad Lowery and Senior Airman Shakera Rodriguez, both from the 567th RED HORSE. In their respective age divisions other winners included  Airman First Class Sedrick Allen, Staff Sgt. Melissa Edmonds, Tech. Sgt.  Ian Gardner,  Lt. Col. Jeanette Thode and Tech. Sgt. Randall Whittfield.

The RED HORSE Squadron won the trophy for most squadron participation with a majority of the 160 runners and walkers that came out to participate in the event.

The next Warrior Run/Walk will be held on April 6, 2014.
