Delayed Release: CY20A ARC First Lieutenant and Captain’s Promotion Process

Due to unforeseen events, the CY20A  ARC First Lieutenant and Captain’s Process has experienced delays and the Air Reserve Personnel Center Selection Board Secretariat is unable to provide an exact public release date at this time. The packages are still pending approval and as a result, this will unfortunately may delay some officer’s promotions. 

The Date of Rank and Promotion Effective date for those who met the CY20A First Lieutenant Process will be the date the officer completes the required two-years Time in Grade. 

The new date of rank and promotion effective date for those who met the CY20A  ARC Captain’s Process will be the public release date, the date the officer completes the required two-years time in grade, or attainment of a bachelor’s degree (whichever is later).

The ARPC, Selection Board Secretariat has been, and will continue to, monitor the approval of the CY20A ARC First Lieutenant and Captain’s Process. Once the results are approved and received, we will expedite the release and update the promotion effective dates in MilPDS.  We will work with the officers affected by this delay and stand ready to answer questions or concerns.
