Firefighters from the 332nd, led by Chief Master Sgt. Douglass Willis and Senior Master Sgt. Donald  Knuth were recognized this week for their volunteer support of the military hospital in Balad.

While not working their shifts as firefighters, these true American heroes dedicated their off-duty hours to supporting the military hospital in various capacities.

Their constant support to the mission comes from the heart. "It's an honor to put recovering soldiers on a plane, so they may heal at home after self-lessness service," said Tech. Sgt. Chris McArdle.

These 332nd firefighters are also making their home station proud as all are reservists with the 916th Civil Engineer Squadron.
