Airmen from the 916th Air Refueling Wing and 4th Fighter Wing completed the US Air Force Marathon on Sept. 12, in Dayton, Ohio.

Lt. Col. Art Primas, director of operations for the 911th Air Refueling Squadron said that everyone on the team finished and had a great time.

At the end of the marathon, Colonel Primas conducted a re-enlistment of two Airmen assigned to the 911th ARS.  He explained that when the announcers saw what was going on they stopped the music and comentary and handed him a microphone so that the whole crowd could hear what was happening.

Team Seymour has been training for months in preparation for the marathon. "We reached our goals as a group," Colonel Primas said. But while the Air Force Marathon is over for this year, this isn't the last time this group will race together. Their excited about other opportunities and continuing to train for other races.

Video of the re-enlistment can be seen on the 916th Home Page.
