To the horse!

When the 567th RED HORSE Squadron was created here last year, reservists used the old 916th Civil Engineer building as their home. But with more than 200 members the old building quickly grew too small.

In early March, the rapid deployment squadron celebrated the opening of their new location in a building that once housed federal prisoners. With some renovations and a new mascot out front, the building was ready for an official ribbon cutting ceremony during the March unit training assembly weekend.

Charging Charlie, the red horse that adorns all the lawns outside of Air Force RED HORSE units was unveiled and Col. Lamb, commander of the squadron, along with other members, helped open the new building to anxious members and invited guests.
