First official visit

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. --  Col. Randall Ogden didn't waste any time starting his official duties at the 916th this week.

On his second day in the office, the new wing commander welcomed Mr. Tad Dunn, deputy director of the North Carolina Military Foundation during a tour of the 77th and 911th Air Refueling Squadron building on April 27th.

Mr. Dunn was also touring the 4th Fighter Wing for the first time, learning more about the active duty and Reserve components here.

The North Carolina Military Foundation plays a critical role for the state during Base Realignment and Closure proceedings.

Mr. Dunn was able to see how the 2005 BRAC recommendations were implemented at the 916th with the active association and addition of eight KC-135R Stratotankers.
