More than 250 active duty and Reserve Airmen from the 916th Air Refueling Wing wrapped up a full day's worth on combat training on Saturday, June 5 at Volk Field.

The morning sessions were filled with chemical warfare training, while afternoon sessions focused on medical scenarios, handling prisoners and weapons familiarization.

The 916th is partnered with the 440th Airlift Wing at Pope AFB, N.C. for an Operational Readiness Inspection that will occur in late January 2011. The two wings are training this week in Wisconsin to prepare for the impending Air Mobility Command exercise next year.
