Comm Reservist serves country and community Published Aug. 16, 2010 SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Senior Airman Christopher Twitty knows what it's like to serve. Currently he is helping his country by serving his annual tour in Florida, assisting with the communication needs of bases in the area. But he doesn't draw the line of service there. While deployed, this 916th Communication Squadron Airman also served the local community. Airman Twitty spent time volunteering at the Panama City Rescue Mission. The organization provides help through a program called Klothes for Kids, which gives needy and disadvantaged families in the area school uniforms and supplies. "We handed out everything from clothes and book bags to school supplies and shoes," said Airman Twitty.
