Promotion party 911th style Published April 14, 2011 SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- There's nothing better than being welcomed home by family and co-workers after a long deployment. Unless those family and co-workers decide to pin a stripe on you too. Senior Master Sergeant David Roush, 911th Air Refueling Squadron, has spent the last few months at Al Udeid, but in mid-April he came home among the usual fanfare, with a blue and silver twist. Shortly after stepping off the KC-135R Statotanker that brought him back to Seymour Johnson, his wife and Senior Master Sgt. Christopher Stephens tacked on the new set of stripes that a board awarded Sgt. Roush a month ago. What better way to say welcome home!
