Senior Airman Roy Varney, a staple in the 916th Force Support Squadron Communications Shop, is deployed to Scott Air Force Base, Ill assisting the AFNIC and was the feature of the center's Personnel Spotlight this week. "As a certifying authority rep, I create the AFNIC Advantage by exercising our commitment to help ensure all computer systems are secure," Varney said. "And that they provide protection of people and resources dedicated in support of the USAF and DoD mission." Varney will return to the 916th Air Refueling Wing in-time for the September unit training assembly.
