Air Force Ball coming up

  • Published
In an effort to highlight Team Seymour, leadership of the 4th Fighter Wing set this year's Air Force Ball date for the September drill weekend.

On Sat. Sept. 22, the base will commemorate 66 years of worldwide air superiority.

While to many the Air Force Ball may sound like another banquet or a reason to be in formal or semi-formal dress uniforms, the event is planned to give Airmen a chance to celebrate their heritage among their peers in a formal setting. Between high operations tempo of the wing and the extended deployments of our Airmen and reservists, many do not often get the chance to meet people outside their career field. This year, leadership hopes to see more reservists participating and sharing their stories with their active duty brethren.

The event will be held in the 916th Corrosion Control Hangar and 6-10pm. .  Attire is mess dress for Airmen and semi-formal for civilians. Tickets range in price depending on rank, but they start at $18 for E1-E4 and go up to $35 for GS11 and above. Lt. Col. Pete Benton is the POC for the 916th Air Refueling Wing, but see the attached flier for other points of contact across the base.
