The 916th Air Refueling Wing has been known as a leader in the command for educating people on the mission of the Air Force Reserve.

While this Goldsboro tanker wing flies more than 500 educators, ROTC cadets, civic leaders, clergy, media and legislators each year, it recently had a different group fly at 20,000 feet to see an air-to-air refueling first-hand.

In September, the wing flew Air Force Reserve recruiters from the local area. Seeing the capabilities of the tanker and crew helps recruiters tell interested candidates what the wing is all about and get them excited to join one of the best refueling wings in the business.
