Sonya Coley, a Reservist with the 916th Logistics Readiness Squadron, recently returned from the Materiel Management Apprentice Course at Lackland Air Force Base where she was recognized as the Top Graduate  Sgt. Coley maintained a 99% grade point average while demonstrating outstanding military bearing and behavior, to include leadership, followership and team building.  She works in the supply section of the squadron.

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- During the 916th Communications Squadron's annual tour this July, reservists from the squadron donated their time to a worthy cause. More than 20 reservists helped Habitat for Humanity on Sat. July 19. The communicators helped landscape, build trusses, fortify walls, install installation and build shelves during their volunteer day. The project took place near the base located in Goldsboro, N.C.

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Eight members of the 916th Security Forces Squadron arrived at Kirkuk Air Base, Iraq this week. These reservists will provide base security defending the perimeter of the regional airport for the next six months. Out of the nearly 65 reservists assigned to the 916th Security Forces, more than 45 are currently serving on active duty.
