Inspections loom, Airmen prepare

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Members of the 916th Communication Squadron practice self-aid and buddy care in preparation for major exercises at the wing in 2010 and 2011. Here, members are dressed in full chemical protective equipment and are practicing wartime scenarios. Currently the wing is scheduled for exercises in June and October 2010 with its Operational Readiness Inspection set for late January 2011.

Self-defense training part of continuing education

Wing leadership attends bi-annual HRDC meeting

SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Members of the 916th Air Refueling Wing Human Resource Development Council attended the Air Force Reserve HRDC bi-annual meeting at the end of October in Atlanta. The HRDC looks for ways to expand various wing programs and initiatives to educate military members and the community on the roles and mission of the Air Force Reserve. In attendance at the meeting from left to right were: Capt. Stephen Stokes, Maj. Gen. Linda Hemminger, AFRC HRDC chair, Lt. Col. Keith Howell, Senior Master Sgt. Mario Velez, Col. Phil Fallin and Lt. Col. David Herndon.
