SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- The 916th ARW LRS will conduct a Deserving Airman Board in April 2019 for a 21R-Logistics Readiness Officer position. Packages are due by COB 10 March 2019 and board interviews will be conducted during April UTA.
Requirements:
- Must be a US citizen or lawfully admitted to the US for permanent residence IAW DoDI 1304.26
- Must have high moral conduct and character
- Must be able to graduate from OTS before age 40 birthdate
- Must be medically qualified and meet AF fitness requirements
- Must not have been dis-enrolled from a military service academy or any officer training program
- Must possess a baccalaureate from an educational institution listed in the Accredited Institutions of Post–Secondary Education listing. Provide official college transcript with package.
- Must have a minimum passing AFOQT score at the time of the officer board interview or within 60 days of the board interview
- Must obtain a written recommendation from their immediate supervisor and endorsement by their commander
- Must submit a letter on why they want to become an officer
- Must submit last 3 EPRs
- Must provide a typed resume
- If selected, agree, in writing, to attend Basic Officer Training (BOT), a 13-week pre-commissioning course held at Maxwell AFB, AL. within 6 months of selection or first available class date.
- Agree to serve attend 6 week LRO school with 6 months of commissioning.
- Serve a minimum of two years with the 916 LRS
